About
Over the past several years, I have experimented with a wide range of artistic mediums including drawing, painting, printmaking, performing arts, music, and mixed media. Often, my projects revolve around exploring ways in which art can help bridge connections between people, question their perspectives, and facilitate dialogue among community members.
Beyond the classroom, I joined the founding of Artists for Impact, a youth arts initiative dedicated to using creativity for social good. Through events and collaborations of any kind, including in my studio practice, I strive to communicate experiences in ways that words alone cannot express.
I believe art is more than decoration or entertainment. It can preserve culture, communicate emotion, challenge social expectations, and bring people together. Throughout my experiences in visual art, music, leadership, and service, I have learned that creativity becomes most meaningful when it creates connection — between people, communities, and ideas.
